The person is expected to act as the scale anchor for AI/ML initiatives. This role is responsible for turning AI/ML experiments into reliable, observable, and scalable production systems that operate under real-world constraints. This includes ownership of deployment, monitoring, reliability, and scalability, ensuring AI/ML solutions operate predictably, observably, and cost-effectively in real-world environments.

Primary Focus:

• Productionization of AI/ML systems with focus on GenAI stack from experimentation to deployment
• Design and operation of data pipelines and learning workflows for AI/ML systems
• Deployment of models across batch, streaming, and real-time serving patterns
• Management of model artifacts, registries, and feature/representation stores
• Monitoring model performance, data drift, and retraining workflows
• Establishment and maintenance of Dev / Stage / Prod environments for AI/ML systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and operate scalable AI/ML systems with high reliability and availability
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML workflows (code, data, and models)
• Implement data validation, quality checks, and freshness guarantees
• Monitor system health, data drift, and model drift with alerting and remediation strategies
• Optimize AI/ML systems for cost, latency, and operational efficiency
• Own post-deployment support, incident response, and continuous improvement
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Core Requirements
  • Experience building and operating production systems with real-world constraints
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals with a solid understanding of AI/ML lifecycles
  • Solid collaboration skills when working with AI/ML engineer and platform teams
  • Proven ability to design systems that operate under clear SLAs and failure modes
• Technical Skills
  • Programming & Engineering: Python, solid software design and debugging skills
  • AI/ML Systems: Model deployment patterns (batch, streaming, online), RAG pipelines
  • Data & Infrastructure: Data pipelines, distributed systems, Vector & No-SQL database
  • Platforms & tooling: Cloud, containers (Docker/Podman), Kubernetes, orchestration, AI/MLflow
  • CI/CD & AI/MLOps: CI/CD pipelines, github action workflow, workflow orchestration, model/version management
  • Observability: Logging, metrics, alerts for AI/ML systems in production
