Anatomic Pathology Support Specialist II

The Anatomic Pathology Support Specialist II, reporting to the Anatomic Pathology Lab Director, plays a key role in Anatomic Pathology department operations. The position is responsible for administrative support for the Anatomic Pathology Department, including the Chief Pathologist, Technicians, Pathologists and Management. The Support Specialist will organize and oversee the flow of specimens for testing and assist with send-outs management. This position will also utilize the Laboratory Information System, generate reports, interpret medical plan benefits to maximize collections. The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, highly developed organizational abilities along with excellent people and communication skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma
  • 2+ years lab experience OR 2+ years administrative experience
  • Proven solid interpersonal skills
  • Proven excellent organizational skills
  • Proven excellent time management skills
  • Proven ability to speak and write clearly

Preferred Qualification:

  • Associates degree or higher

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.38 to $36.44 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
