The Nurse Manager is accountable for the effective delivery of competent compassionate and efficient patient care of the Infusion Center, Hematology Oncology, and/or Radiation Oncology clinics. Supervises daily clinical operations of the center and manages the nursing staff in accordance with established Federal, State, and JCAHO/AAAHC regulations and center policies. Responsible for clinical and nursing activities including policies and procedures. Oversees patient care activities in the Infusion Center, Hematology Oncology, and/or Radiation Oncology clinics including Quality Improvement Program, including Infection Control and Safety plans, purchasing of equipment and supplies. Manages human and budgetary resources to accomplish clinic goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • BSN in nursing
  • Current RN license to practice professional nursing in Texas
  • CPR
  • OCN certified
  • ALS through American Heart Association
  • 7+ years clinical RN experience
  • 3+ years of infusion experience
  • 3+ years progressive supervisory/management experience
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Proven ability to use equipment and related suppliers for a selected patient population
  • Proven ability to use mechanical devices, such as those used in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy
  • Ability to travel to other KSC Cancer Centers
  • Driver's License and access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in nursing or related field
  • Experience with various accrediting agencies

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
