Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Drives basic hygiene on the operations floor and builds culture for the same.
  2. Drives cost reduction agenda in the processes with automation opportunities, productivity enhancement opportunities, and cross utilization of resources.
  3. Assists new hires and tenured staff to meet productivity and quality goals.
  4. Manages team and ensures quality and productivity targets are met and exceeded.
  5. Motivates and engages team members and maintains attrition within thresholds.
  6. Provides coaching and feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance and focus on their career pathing and advancement within the organization.
  7. Assists new hires such that they are productive on the floor in the shortest possible time frame.
  8. Builds systems to ensure no escalations and is prompt in responding to escalations.
  9. Provides inputs to leadership on process gaps that exist.
  10. Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, external regulations, and information security standards.
  11. Is sensitive and aware of the organizational priorities towards change and innovation and cost optimization.
  12. Works independently with minimal direction and is very high on execution and adherence to timelines.
  13. Takes initiative to understand the process and keeps himself updated on the important changes in the business and the healthcare industry.
  14. Builds solid relationships with onshore counterparts and support functions and utilizes the relationship to maximize the results for OGS.
  15. Handles the MIS and reporting needs with accuracy and timeliness.
  16. Is eager to take on more responsibilities and should be able to execute the adhoc tasks.
  17. Analyzes and identifies error trends and opportunities for defect reduction.
  18. Analyzes and develops overall improvement plans (department and individual).
  19. Administrative responsibilities as assigned. Handles sensitive information appropriately (HIPAA) and acts in a fair and honest manner consistent with the company's code of conduct.
  20. Should be comfortable working in US Shifts.
  21. Complies with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate
  • Should have total experience of at least three years, with a 2+ years in the role of a team manager on paper.
  • Should have ability to lead a team in an operational environment.
  • Skills:
    • Effective communication skills both verbal and written to individuals.
    • Ability to do careful listening, tact and candor, two-way communication, and master a high impact communication style.
    • Ability to be a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities with minimum direction solutions.
    • Ability to effectively organize and lead a team of people, in cooperative processes to achieve shared outcomes.
    • Should have sound knowledge of MS Office.
