Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Network Operations Training Programs
  • Support planning and execution of events to engage trainees
  • Provide overall administrative support to the Network Operations Training & Development team, including administration, operations, media development, and technical support (mobile device distribution and management)
  • Assist with special projects, ad-hoc requests, and communications for ongoing Network Operations training programs
  • This internship is solely designed to provide you with skill development and valuable work experience. This role may not convert to a position at United at the conclusion of the internship.

Qualifications:

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree Business Administration, Aviation Management, Human Resources, Instructional Design or related field
  • Strong administrative and customer service experience
  • Organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic MS Office suite skills
  • Position is based in Arlington Heights, IL – must be able to relocate
  • Intern duration is 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026
  • Applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now and in the future
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Pelesys, Cornerstone, etc.
  • Knowledge or experience in Instructional Design/Technology

The starting rate for this role is $20.00. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This position may also be eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
