From operational leadership and crew planning to safety and service procedures, our Inflight Services team provides the innovative approaches, tools, training and guidance needed for our flight attendants to deliver the best possible customer experience, and aid in our mission to become the best airline in the history of aviation.

This internship is designed solely to provide you with skill development and valuable work experience. This role will likely not convert to a full-time position at United at the conclusion of the internship.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will support our Inflight Base Operation teams in data analysis, project coordination, and operational excellence initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience in airline operations, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Analytics Support

• Assist with performance reporting, dashboards, and data analysis
• Support creation of presentations and status reports for leadership
• Help maintain operational tracking systems and databases
• Contribute to performance trend analysis and improvement initiatives

Project & Operational Support

• Support project planning, tracking, and documentation across multiple initiatives
• Assist with daily operational activities and communication coordination
• Help with training program development and procedural documentation
• Support cross-departmental collaboration and stakeholder meetings

Administrative Support

• Assist with report generation and distribution
• Support recruitment activities and performance documentation
• Help coordinate meetings and maintain project calendars
• Contribute to recognition programs and communication materials

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

The starting rate for this role is $20.00. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This position may also be eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
