Container Platform Engineer
We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Container Platform Engineer to join our UniQue CIET team, part of our Professional Services Department.

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, implementing, and maintaining container-based infrastructure environments. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient containerized environments using products such as Openshift, Docker and Kubernetes.
For the Container Platform Engineer role we expect you to:
- Install, deploy, and manage OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with development teams to support containerized deployments using OpenShift.
- Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift/Kubernetes environments, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement security best practices for containerized applications and manage user access control and permissions within OpenShift.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to incorporate security policies and procedures into the OpenShift platform.
- Document OpenShift configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring that best practices are followed.
- Manage container orchestration platforms and ensure high availability.
- Support disaster recovery and backup strategies for containerized systems.
