Role Purpose
If you are passionate about contributing to the growth of one of Unilever's key businesses by leading the implementation of the Helados Holanda strategy, in close collaboration with teams like Trade Marketing, Customer Service, and Point of Sale Execution, this position is for you.
You will be responsible for managing and analyzing key performance indicators such as sales, margin, and inventory, working daily with leadership, teamwork, commitment, and proactivity. This role is focused on developing and elevating the Proximity channel, mainly Pharmacies and Convenience, ensuring that we enhance the consumer's shopping experience at the point of sale.
Key Responsibilities
- Exceed established objectives, achieving outstanding results through the use of multifunctional teams and the development of the channel with a focus on impulse buying of ice creams.
- Lead and ensure the execution of category plans, activities, and strategic priorities.
- Build strong relationships with client operations teams and central office stakeholders.
- Co-lead with Execution, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to ensure excellence at the point of sale.
- Manage and control client-specific commercial investments efficiently and strategically.
- Develop a new concept aimed at strengthening categories and brands through bold and unconventional strategies.
- Oversee the financial management processes of accounts, ensuring precise and effective portfolio management.
Skills and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in similar roles within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. Experience in impulse categories is considered a plus.
- Experience in direct distribution business (DSD) is considered a plus.
- Proven track record in sales to key accounts, preferably within the proximity channel (convenience or pharmacy).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation and strategic influence skills to work directly with clients and manage stakeholders, with the aim of driving commercial results. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Data Literacy: Make data-driven decisions to identify and unlock new growth opportunities, leveraging insights to guide strategy and execution.
- Consumer and Customer Focus: Demonstrate a passion for being on the front line, understanding and anticipating customer needs, and translating them into effective strategies that drive category growth through strong partnerships.
