Junior Key Account Manager Hpc

Your main tasks will include:

  • Independent care of Rewe and Retail Trade Group customers in the Home and Personal Care sector, including annual negotiations on individual performance agreements.
  • Responsibility for implementing the national business plans for assigned customers in close collaboration with the Senior Key Account Manager and the Customer Strategy and Planning department.
  • Support in the strategic annual planning for customers in collaboration with Customer Strategy and Planning and the relevant Group Account Manager.
  • Close cooperation with central interfaces such as Business Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Strategy and Planning to best serve the interests and needs of customers.
  • Participation in the creation of calculations and offers.
  • Identification and realization of improvement approaches for the revenue and profitability potential of the customer (Net Revenue Management).
  • Development, negotiation, and implementation of all relevant promotion and assortment activities.
  • Support in the planning and execution of strategic customer events, such as innovation days, in collaboration with the Senior Key Account Manager.
  • Creation of reports and customer analyses to exploit potential.
  • Representing the Senior Key Account Manager in internal bodies, including Category-Sales and Business Unit Leadership meetings.

Required qualifications:

  • Completed commercial vocational training or a completed economic study
  • 1-2 years of practical experience in key account management in the FMCG sector
  • Knowledge of the market, trade, and competitive environment
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Experience in handling and evaluating large data sets

Desired qualifications:

  • GS1-Category Management certification
  • Flexibility, agility, as well as an independent and structured way of working
  • A high level of team capability and empathy
  • Communication skills and the ability to inspire people
  • Very good negotiation and closing skills
