Scope: Lead capital investment processes for assigned projects; manage their approval, ensuring compliance with the Annual Capex Plan, under the internal policies and procedures of The Magnum Ice Cream Company and local legislation.

Location: Tultitlan.

Terms & Conditions: Full time, 100% on-site.

Purpose of the Job

Key Responsibilities

  • Detect and analyze capital investment needs
  • Plan and control the execution of assigned investment projects by the Direct Manager
  • Lead the process of cost analysis, technical feasibility evaluation, and control of project expenses, ROI
  • Ensure KPI compliance / Ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget / Prepare project progress reports
  • Responsible for the creation and follow-up of purchase orders and optimize the budget allocated to each project to maximize the return on investments
  • Explore new equipment suppliers and services and perform benchmark studies (external and/or internal Unilever) / Identify cost-reduction opportunities or improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with SHE and QA standards, (Contractor Safety, Risk Assessment, Construction Safety, Culture, Good Manufacturing Practices, Unilever standards), lead the investigation of incidents and execution of corrective actions
  • Responsible for the implementation of the Early Equipment Management methodology (EEM – Unilever Manufacturing System)
  • Responsible for budget execution and justification of deviations

What You Need to Succeed

Skills:

  • Know and use AutoCAD 2D-3D, 3DS Max, Revit (or similar)
  • Experience in Food Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, or similar industries
  • Know and apply world-class management system (UMS, TMP, WCM)
  • Financial Analysis
  • Proactive/self-management
  • Operational discipline
  • Leadership (know how to manage crisis, ambiguity, connection with areas, proactivity to solve day to day in terms of operational complexity)
  • High level of morale and ethics
  • Autonomy

Experiences and Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in Project Leadership or Maintenance
  • Project Management
  • Workgroup Leadership
  • Advanced level of English
  • Project skills
  • Develop effective presentations
  • Nice to have: AI, digital skills

Additional Information

As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its ice cream business, expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new ice cream company.
