DevOps Engineer Intern

AutoCAD, the leading software for computer-aided design, is seeking a highly motivated DevOps engineer intern to join our team to build and support the entire cloud services ecosystem for our various products. You will be part of a team of DevOps engineers that build, expand, and maintain the multiple cloud solutions for the multi-platform AutoCAD application that serves millions of users. You'll be working with modern technology stacks, including Python, Django, Java, AWS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Graphite/Prometheus, Docker and more.
Responsibilities
- Research and recommend the best approach to solve a given problem
- Take part in the research, design, development, deployment, and monitoring of cross-platform AutoCAD features – bringing a centralized backend perspective to the table
- Adoption of best practices and market-standard technologies and methodologies
- Collaborate with colleagues both inside and outside of the team
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing BS in computer science, computer engineering or other engineering disciplines
- Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
- Understanding & constant curiosity of best practice DevOps and architecture methodologies
- Great programming skills (Python, JavaScript, Node.js,…)
- Knowledge of Docker environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate and communicate well in team environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS-based architecture
- Previous back-end development experience
- Experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management tools and cloud automation
- Experience defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity…)
