The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate, with a commitment to refugee issues and a desire to develop their skills and experience in donor relations, fundraising and communications. All candidates should be computer literate, as well as have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times. Good interpersonal skills, flexibility and attention to detail are essential. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive team player with a strong interest in partnerships, CSR, media, protection, policy and refugee and displacement issues to complete a six-months internship with UNHCR Qatar. You will work closely with the private sector partnerships, external relations and protection teams.
Liaising with UNHCR's wider networks, you will support the development of UNHCR's image, agenda, and compliance across the organization, and will play your part in achieving UNHCR's strategic ambitions; contributing to the protection of people forced to flee.

Location: The successful candidate will be based with the team in Doha, Qatar. Arrangements for travel, including travel arrangements to and from the location where the internship will be carried out, are the responsibilities of interns. Allowance: monthly allowance will be provided, as per UNHCR policy.
Note: An individual whose father, mother, son, daughter, brother or sister is a staff member of UNHCR, including a Temporary Appointment holder or a member of the Affiliate Workforce, is not eligible for an internship.
