Job Description

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Project Coordination:
  • Act as the central point of contact for all project-related communication between Sales, Operations, Engineering, and customers.
  • Manage and oversee project delivery timelines to ensure adherence to project milestones.
  • Conduct both internal and external project kick-off meetings to establish clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
• Project Tracking & Problem-Solving:
  • Track project supply chain and inventory, ensuring materials and components are available as required for on-time delivery.
  • Identify and support alternative material solutions in case of shortages, collaborating with Operations and Engineering to ensure quality and feasibility.
• Quality Control & Inspection:
  • Conduct visual inspections of incoming fabricated items on a sampling basis, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements as needed.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to communicate any known issues with purchased parts or products and address any dimensional deviations identified during inspections.
• Any other official duties as may be assigned by the Management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing or Engineering or equivalent education • Minimum five years of experience in a similar role dealing with quality systems, customers and suppliers management, supplier development and audits • Strong knowledge in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) • Knowledge in manufacturing processes/standards, material standards/grades, certifications, testing standards, and welding standards and processes. • Preferably good knowledge of structural/steel metal fabrication processes • Good understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings • Statistical analytical skills and technical proficiency for quality processes • Excellent proficiency in English • Strong communication skills with concise and clarity to multiple stakeholder e.g. internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers • Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines and budgets • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment • Willingness to travel and be mobile
