Project Engineer - Renewable Projects

Job Title

Job responsibilities and qualifications for a technical role in renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

Execute technical due diligence and owner's engineering for wind and solar projects, including desktop analysis and site inspections. Prepare detailed reports in English following an academic consulting style. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams across the region, explaining and simplifying technical concepts (primarily electrical). Perform conceptual design and energy evaluations for renewable energy projects. Integrate continuous improvement practices into all aspects of work. Support additional tasks as assigned, which may fall outside core technical expertise.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering in Electrical, Civil, or related discipline. Strong learning agility and an open mindset. 2–4 years of experience in the wind and/or solar industry; experience in technical due diligence is an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex engineering, construction, and operational concepts to non-technical audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Fluency in English and local language. Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record. Willingness to travel extensively within Vietnam and ASEAN countries (up to 40%).
