Description of the Role

In this role, you will join a team developing a technological product that promotes the integration of AI into the features of our games. Within our production studios, you will evolve at the crossroads of AI teams, design, and quality assurance, which will allow you to bring your knowledge in prompt engineering & AI to build unique gaming experiences.

As a Prompt Engineer (H/F/NB), your missions will be as follows:

  • Participate in the framing and design of the AI features of our games;
  • Ensure the adoption of the technology by our different business units;
  • Ensure the consistency of the content of the prompts feeding the algorithms across different testing environments by testing the impact of prompt modifications (error correction, identification of divergences, reformulation and clarification) and by aiming to optimize latency and costs;
  • Participate in the development of best practices for prompts and support teams in their implementation;
  • Contribute to the creation of manual and automatic test scenarios in collaboration with QA & AI teams;
  • Analyze bugs and feedback, identify those related to the content of the prompts and the axes of improvement;
  • Participate in the identification and testing of new machine learning models, as well as the design of tools allowing their use;
  • Ensure scientific vigilance on prompt engineering practices and AI in general.

Qualifications

Passionate about video games, you have at least one first experience in a technology company;

You have significant experience in creating prompts for different tasks and on different providers. Concepts such as agents and function calling, reasoning approaches, chain/tree of thoughts, zero shot & few shot approaches, retrieval augmentation generation are all familiar to you;

You have a good understanding of several language models (GPT-4, Gemini, Claude, Qwen, SentenceBERT, Llama, Mistral, etc.) as well as their main differences;

You can communicate in English both written and spoken (French is a plus). You are also recognized for your very good writing skills;

You have a good ability to listen, understand, and translate customer needs into specifications;

You are able to adapt your analyses and discourse to reach a wide audience;

You show autonomy and curiosity.

Plus:

  • Programming skills (Python, C#, etc.) and use of AI APIs;
  • Experience in creating narrative content (dialogues, quests, world descriptions) and/or role-playing games;
  • Good understanding of video game design principles.

In the analysis of applications, particular attention will be paid to the quality of the cover letter: we will prioritize a short text illustrating a good understanding of the position and highlighting one or two focused experiences and/or skills, rather than a long generic text unfolding your CV.
