Tager Appliance Repair is hiring. We are an award-winning, family-owned appliance repair company serving the Kansas City area, and we are looking for the right person to join our team. This position can work for someone with appliance repair experience, or someone mechanically inclined who is willing to learn the trade the right way.

What we offer:

• Starting pay at $20/hour during training
• $25/hour during the ramp-up period after training
• $27/hour once fully released and consistently running a full schedule
• Growth potential up to $30/hour
• Bonus potential up to an extra $1,000/month
• Average week is around 45 hours
• Time and a half paid after 40 hours

For experienced technicians, this is a chance to step into steady work with a full schedule, office support, and no weekend calls. For someone new to appliance repair, we provide structured training and a real path to grow. You are not on your own. Our office handles scheduling, customer calls, parts support, and follow-up, so our technicians can focus on repairing appliances. This is not a temporary job. Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

As an appliance repair technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.

You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.

Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
