This position provides production with timely and accurate schedules, job packets, specs, and other reports necessary to production. This position assists in identifying spec scheduling problems and inconsistencies. Supports all other clerical tasks including department transfers and miss-punches Kronos support.
Tasks include but are not limited to the following: Review and reconcile production job packets on a daily basis; Monitor and reconcile raw materials, ingredients, and packaging inventory levels; Answer questions and assist in resolutions related to production transactions, product and recipe input, etc.; Process, analyze, and distribute various daily and weekly reports while meeting set deadlines; Entering and retrieving data from Ross daily.
Maintain production databases in Excel daily. Maintain data within Kronos to aid in plant reporting. Overtime lbs. man hour. Work with the scheduler to make any necessary adjustments, print, and distribute the daily schedule. Assist Supervisors and act as liaison as needed. Spend time in production to better understand the paperwork process. Filing organizing paperwork. Assist co-workers as needed.
Education: Prefer one year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience or training.
Experience: 1+ years in an office environment or clerical position.
Computer Skills: Must possess knowledge in Microsoft Excel such as formatting, page set up, printing, and basic formulas; Must possess basic knowledge in Microsoft Outlook such as sending emails, attaching files to outgoing emails, and opening emails and attachments.
Special Skills: Must have the ability to work independently thoroughly and in a timely manner while maintaining a positive attitude. Must be able to work well with others. Must be able to take direction on different projects and be self-motivated to accomplish the task.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and talk and hear 34-66 of the time. The employee is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms 0-33 of the time.
