We are seeking driven and passionate interns to join our team and contribute to meaningful projects that drive our business forward. As an intern at Tyson Foods, you'll gain hands-on experience, develop critical skills, and be part of a company that values innovation, sustainability, and excellence.
During this 10–12 week program, you will learn our computer systems, product codes, and collaborate with departments such as scheduling, pricing, customer service, and transportation to ensure accurate shipments and order processing. You'll gain a strong understanding of the sales process—specifically within beef and/or pork—and how it connects to plant operations.
Key responsibilities include embodying Tyson Foods' RIGHT behaviors, contributing to impactful projects, communicating with cross-functional leaders, learning our computer system, ensuring correct product shipments, and gaining an understanding of the plant process and sales positions.
Program highlights include skill development, participation in the summer series, competitive pay, networking opportunities, a focus on sustainability, and relocation and housing assistance where applicable.
Requirements include pursuing a 4-year degree, preferably in Agriculture or Business, strong computer skills, strong communication skills, special skills such as multitasking and adaptability, and a resume that states your expected graduation date and area of study.
This program is 10 weeks minimum, up to 12 if the candidate chooses, and is located in Springdale, AR focusing on Beef & Pork. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours/week during the summer.
