Description:

As a Junior Field Engineer at Tutor Perini Building Corp, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

• Inspect construction site daily and works with contractors to schedule deliveries.
• Interpret designs and drawings for crafts installing materials.
• Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interference, and errors.
• Prepare field design change requisitions and "as built" drawings.
• Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, punch lists describing work items to be done, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations.
• Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications.
• Attend meetings with other contractors, clients, or A/E representatives to coordinate design and construction efforts.
• Develop checklists for project closeout documentation in conjunction with specifications.
• Coordinate quality control activities with the construction schedule.
• Assist Contracts Manager with scope gaps.
• Research and propose solutions to quality control issues.
• Create, process, and propose solutions and administers RFI's.
• Set-up job specific concrete log, as well as reviews and maintains concrete log.
• Coordinate MEP start-up and commission meetings and overhead and underground coordination.
• Create scheduling construction sequence, logistics and drawings.
• Understand and comply with company's safety program and remedial safety procedures.
• Coordinate changes in mock-ups and/or shop drawings and specifications.
• Oversee Quantity Take-off's as project requires.
• Oversee project related pricing/budgets.
• Develops procurement log and tracks progress to ensure compliance with project schedule.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree
• OSHA Certification
• General Construction Experience
• Strong Communication skills
