What does a Slot Service Supervisor do?
- Effectively supervise Slot Service Representatives; ensure all activities and distinguishing job duties are performed according to Turning Stone Resort and Casino departmental policies, procedures, and goals.
- Dedicate time regularly to observe, train, and recognize staff performance and establish clear accountability.
- Manage all aspects of slot operations on assigned shift.
- Enthusiastically support the organization's mission and values and constantly set a positive example in achieving service and performance standards.
- Provide coaching and performance support to other supervisors and slot employees, demonstrating the established standards for leadership success.
- Demonstrate outstanding "First with Our Guests" service skills and assist guests with questions while consistently tracking guest complaints as well as monitoring frequency of guest plays.
- Account for and distribute reports while making accurate inquiries within logs for guest disputes, big wins, call-ins, and hours worked. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and follows appropriate tax guidelines.
- Consistently monitor business flow to ensure efficient scheduling of employees.
- Maintain working knowledge of slot machine functions/controls and software updates.
- Maintain communication with all work areas to ensure efficiency and performance standards.
- Assist with wins up to $10,000. Accurately verifies wins, pays guests out, and prepares W2G's.
- Account for and verify all money at the beginning and end of a shift to provide accurate banks. Ensures keys are properly signed in and out, as well as radios.
- Maintain professional rapport and confidentiality in communicating with other departments as required by procedure.
To be successful as a Slot Service Supervisor, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
- 1 year of previous experience working in Slot operations or player knowledge is required.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and guest service skills; the position requires constant interaction with guests and employees.
- To possess mathematical ability. Must have cash-handling experience.
