Operations Supervisor

We're looking for a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead daily operations and ensure exceptional guest service. This role oversees staff performance, maintains service and inventory standards, and supports training and scheduling needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-focused, and committed to creating a welcoming, efficient environment. Experience with F&B operations and gaming procedures is a strong plus.

What does an Operations Supervisor do?

  1. Effectively supervises staff and maintains service levels. Consistently demonstrates outstanding guest service skills and always identifies repeat guests. Ensures staff is friendly and welcoming at all times.
  2. Maintains knowledge of F&B Operation's internal functions, controls and software updates and takes the initiative to convey pertinent information to employees regarding policy changes.
  3. Ensures efficiency and accurate performance standards are met by maintaining communication with all work areas to verify paperwork and inventory controls.
  4. Consistently demonstrates outstanding guest service skills and always identifies repeat guests.
  5. Takes responsibility for ensuring that employees are trained/developed in Operations and monitors business flow to develop efficient training, break and shift schedules.
  6. Is always available to assist team members as needed.
  7. Regularly monitors the inventory of all supplies and orders supplies as needed.
  8. Understands and maintains the highest quality of food and service levels.
  9. Effectively monitors gaming area, ensuring all activities and distinguishing job duties are performed according to policy and procedure.
  10. Limits underage access to age restricted areas. Follows all age verification procedures for alcohol/cigarette purchases and gaming activity. Instructs guests in a friendly and respectful manner.
  11. Maintains knowledge of slot machine games and accurately instructs guests on their operation, and on any available gaming incentives or promotions. Works collaboratively with Turning Stone staff to include gaming, technical, TS Rewards, and Cage staff to ensure accurate and efficient gaming operations within the store.
  12. Participates in jackpot payout process in accordance with internal/department control procedures when necessary.
  13. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work Experience

  • A High School diploma or GED equivalent required. A college degree or some level of secondary education preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience and F&B experience; required.
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must possess computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Must possess outstanding guest service skills.
  • Previous money handling experience with basic math skills required.
  • Ability to organize/prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to make decisions in a stressful environment and accommodate a flexible work schedule.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 31-40 pounds.
