Job Description

Turner & Townsend has an open position for a Product Support Administrator to work with one of the largest EPC firms in the country.

Summary

Provides administrative support to client's organization. Under limited supervision, the incumbent works in a self-directed role with minimal supervision to process color matches from operations to shipping using applicable software. Assignments generally include such types of work as preparing packages for mail (USPS and FedEx, including International), maintaining complicated records requiring careful selection, classification, or compilation of information from several sources. Applies common sense understanding to execute written or oral instructions. Required ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

  • Process internal and external color standards, color management orders and requests.
  • Manages web based and email orders from the time of entry through order shipping.
  • Order fulfillment responsibilities include, color standard retrieval and or replenishment, labeling, packaging, and completing domestic and global shipping documentation.
  • Perform visual review, and quality inspection of standards, prior to sending to customers/mfg. sites.
  • Assist in labeling, organizing, and shipping of new color matches.
  • Order FedEx shipping supplies, entering PO's and shipping notices
  • Order CXP supplies (safety PPE, paper, toner, etc)
  • Coordinate employee and customer events (service lunches, catered events, etc)
  • Work effectively with customers, internal teams, couriers, and global manufacturing sites to answer questions and resolve issues on chip requests, chip shipments, client's website, or any other business matters relating to the role.
  • Frequent (at least 1x daily) trips into color library freezer at 10 degrees F, with proper PPE.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is located at a chemical plant and requires exposure to temperature extremes, up to and including 10 degrees F
  • Work will require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as cold weather gear, hearing and eye protection, hard hat and steel-toed boots
  • Day-to-day physical requirements involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively
  • Lift requirements will include lifting up to 55lbs, as frequently as once daily
  • Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs
    • May require walking the project property

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • A Color Vision Test must be completed and passed as a requirement for this position (Farnsworth-Munsell Color Test)
  • 2+ years of applicable experience within an office setting
  • Proficient in use of personal computers and Microsoft Office
  • Preferred knowledge of SAP
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated record keeping, organization and planning skills
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and high initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work well with team members and customers

Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is $65K-$75K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
