Data Quality Engineer

The Data Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining the data governance framework within the People and Places organization.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce data quality standards across the People and Places data ecosystem.

• Create and execute test cases using SQL to validate data transformations and ensure data consistency.

• Identify and address root causes of data issues.

• Support initiatives in data governance, security, and compliance as part of the broader data strategy.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Strong SQL skills and deep knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem, particularly BigQuery.

• Proven experience with data quality management tools and practices.

• Functional knowledge of HRMS (Human Resource Management Systems).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
