Vehicle Service Technician – Autonomous Fleet
We're hiring a Vehicle Service Technician – Autonomous Fleet to help keep our self-driving ride-hailing vehicles running safely and smoothly. This role combines vehicle upkeep, light mechanical work, and technology support.
What You'll Do
- Clean, fuel, and prep vehicles for daily operations
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance
- Support fleet movement, staging, and storage
- Track vehicle readiness through computer systems
- Assist with parts organization and inventory
- Provide on-site support for testing (cones, traffic setup, support driving)
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years experience in automotive, fleet, or mechanical repair
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Comfortable using basic computer programs (Google Suite, MS Office; Jira is a plus)
- Able to work overnight shifts and in fast-paced environments
Preferred
- Trade school certificate or Associate's in automotive repair
- Experience with diagnostics, EVs, or fleet operations
