Robot Service Technician – Tucson, AZ
Join an exciting pilot program supporting self-driving food delivery robots! We're seeking hands-on, reliable technicians to maintain, operate, and repair our local fleet.
You'll handle: Daily Robot Ops – Battery swaps, diagnostics, service readiness, workspace organization, inventory. Mechanical Maintenance – Install/replace sensors (LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonic), update parts, troubleshoot with hand tools, multimeters, and diagnostic software. Field Support – Respond to incidents, retrieve/repair robots, test new hardware.
Requirements:
- Mechanically handy; enjoy tool-based, repetitive work
- Comfortable on a scooter for incident response
- Able to read 2D mechanical drawings & follow manuals
- Valid driver's license + clean MVR (12 months)
- Lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Strong problem-solving & willingness to learn
Preferred:
- Robotics, automotive, or electronics background
- Shop-floor, service bay, or dealership experience
- Leadership or operations background a plus
