Overview: We're hiring Automotive Operations Shift Lead (Self-Driving Cars) for an on-demand autonomous ride-hailing company. You'll oversee daily operations, ensure vehicles are ready, maintain safety and quality standards, and lead a small team during your shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee vehicle logistics, readiness, and service routing
- Manage parts and inventory, keeping accurate documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant workspace
- Support remote site operations as needed
- Act as shift point of contact, resolving issues and promoting team communication
- Coach and train team members, including new hires
- Support data operations, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements:
- 1+ year of people leadership experience
- Clean driving record (0 points)
- Pass background check, MVR, and drug screen
- Proficient in MS Office or Google Suite (Excel/Sheets)
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and a strong communicator
- Able to travel locally up to 20%
Preferred:
- Experience with Git, Jira, or Confluence, Google Suite
