Position Purpose: This individual is responsible for obtaining and inputting information received for DME (Durable Medical Equipment) referrals and follow through for compliance. This person will serve as a resource for internal/external customers requesting Mercy One North Iowa DME services while collaborating with clinical staff regarding referrals.
What You Will Do:
Hours/Schedule: M-F 8- 4:30, no weekends, no holidays. Starting on site, possible hybrid option in future (after 6 months)
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associates of Arts preferably in a healthcare related field
Experience: Must have experience of one or more years in a medical setting. Previous DME experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Special Skills and Competencies: Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with internal and external customers. Must possess critical thinking, problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, and utilize effective communication skills. Must be able to prioritize duties and function within a fast-paced environment. Proficient computer and typing skills.
