Maintain generators, electrical systems, fire alarm systems, and components, working closely with vendors to ensure code compliance and a reliable electrical system.
The Electrician performs electrical testing, installation, repairs, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and daily maintenance on varied building equipment and systems.
Able to plan installations, troubleshoot, perform repairs and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment applying appropriate electrical and regulatory codes.
Effectively interprets blueprints, specification documents, and regulatory standards as applies to specialized installations, projects, and construction.
Maintains current Master Electrician's license through continuing education. Performs data entry on departmental preventive maintenance and work order software.
Supports and abides by all medical center, departmental, and safety policies and procedures.
Proactively identifies safety concerns surrounding the work environment.
