Claims Operations Assistant (medigold) - Corporate Services Center

Position Purpose

Delegated Claims Auditor executes, in an accurate and timely manner, in accordance with the established guidelines and procedures of the MediGold document control processes.

What You Will Do:

• Maintain current knowledge of the claims operating system
• Sort and organize incoming mail for the Claims Department.
• Log and enter incoming mail into database.
• Maintain organized documentation to ensure timely and compliant processing of sensitive materials.
• Provide general clerical support as needed to assist with departmental operations.
• Process and monitor claims-related mail, coordinating with departments to meet CMS delivery requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of mail with Protected Health Information (PHI).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Experience: Familiarity with office procedures, word processing and spreadsheet software
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Knowledge of medical billing forms (UB and 1500).
