As the Senior Manager of our Business Systems Engineering team in Christchurch, you will be the driving force behind the enterprise applications and integrations that empower Trimble's business. You will lead, mentor, and grow a talented team of engineers, guiding their work and defining the technical roadmap for critical platforms like CRM, ERP, and CPQ. This isn't just a technical role; you'll be a key partner to our senior leaders across Sales, Finance, and Operations, ensuring our systems are strategically aligned to support our ambitious business goals.

A significant focus of this role is enabling our indirect partner business models. You'll work closely with our Channel teams to design and manage systems that streamline partner operations, enhance their experience, and provide clear data visibility for both direct and indirect sales. You'll champion agile methodologies and modern engineering practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement that enables us to deliver high-quality solutions at pace.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop a high-performing Business Systems Engineering team.
• Define the technical strategy and roadmap for enterprise applications and integrations.
• Partner with business leaders to align systems priorities with organizational goals.
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.

Skills and experience you should bring include:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering or enterprise business systems.
• 5+ years of experience managing and leading technical teams.
• A strong understanding of major enterprise platforms (CRM, ERP, CPQ, etc.), with a proven track record of delivering complex system integrations.
• Proven experience supporting channel or indirect partner business models and processes.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and work across different business and IT functions.

This role is based at Trimble's New Zealand headquarters in Christchurch, on the Little River Link Cycleway.
