Job Summary:

This software reliability engineering internship offers a variety of hands-on experiences, depending on your area of interest and experience. You will receive hands-on experience using your coding and programming skills in a professional setting while learning how to operate in an agile, team environment. Potential projects include improving how cloud systems are deployed to, monitored, and supported, as well as standardization and policy enforcement around cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become intimately familiar with product requirements and existing monitoring tools/systems
  • Work with developers to make sure that new features are created according to market requirements
  • Work with development teams on complex, multi-dimensional projects, and learn valuable leadership skills
  • Learn how to effectively work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Implement automation for policy enforcement on cloud infrastructure

Recommended Skills & Experience:

  • Candidates currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field
  • Programming/Scripting language experience (e.g. C#, Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Ability to think critically and work independently or collaborate with a team
  • A wide degree of creativity, openness, and latitude when approaching problems
  • Experience with building and/or maintaining cloud infrastructure and services

Compensation:

Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.

Hiring Range: $22.07–$28.13
