The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing immediate solutions or performing more in-depth technical analyses for technical support requests from other departments. This role involves monitoring the performance of the Trimble platform, reacting to relevant incidents, making small improvements or configuration changes, and maintaining updated documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide level 1 support for technical inquiries.
  • Analyze the behavior of technical systems and direct internal efforts to resolve problems occurring with customers.
  • Configure standard components for existing clients.
  • Monitor the performance of the TRANSPOREON platform and respond to relevant incidents.
  • Ensure the completeness and constant update of system documentation.
  • Receive technical support requests from other departments via tickets and provide immediate solutions or more in-depth technical analyses. This includes questions about technical processes, system failures, software bugs and performance issues, all based on the appropriate service level.
  • Perform small improvements or configuration changes in the system settings of existing clients.
  • Delegate cases requiring special expertise to responsible teams via tickets, monitor progress and demand the requested solutions.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience with IT Technical Support.
  • Good knowledge of configuring web-based applications (HTTP/SOAP/REST/FTP).
  • Proven technical expertise in SQL, XML, XSL, JSON, CSV and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Java is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. (interview in English)
