Role Overview:

As a Pre Sales Engineer you will lead technical discovery, design security architectures, and deliver high-impact product demonstrations. Your goal is to build deep trust with customers and partners by proving how Skyhigh's solutions—including CASB, SWG, and ZTNA—protect sensitive data from leakages and threats in hybrid environments.

Core Responsibilities

  • Technical Discovery & Solution Design: Lead workshops to identify customer pain points and architect custom solutions that integrate with their existing tech stack.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) Management: Own the technical execution of PoCs and trials, ensuring success criteria are met to facilitate deal closure.
  • Customer Presentations: Confidently present complex security concepts and business value to stakeholders ranging from security engineers to C-level executives (CISOs, CIOs).
  • Technical Documentation: Respond to RFPs and RFIs, and create reusable technical artefacts like reference architectures and playbooks.
  • Partner Enablement: Support resellers and partners through training and joint customer engagements.
  • Collaboration: Work Closely with Product Management, Engineering teams to share the product roadmaps. Work with Sales team to help accurately Forecast the opportunities.

Key Qualifications

  • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of the SSE market, including Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
  • Experience: Typically 3–5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (presales or solutions engineering) within the cybersecurity or SaaS space.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with cloud-native security, network security architectures, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Soft Skills: Strong "storytelling" and whiteboarding abilities to translate complex technical challenges into clear business outcomes.
