Job Summary

As the Truck Service Business Systems Program Team Lead, you will support the strategic direction set by leadership and ensure effective execution of business system initiatives that power TA Truck Service operations. This role focuses on coordinating integration, optimization, and reliability of platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics Field Service, Oracle, ShopCore, and ServiceNow.

You will lead a team of analysts, manage cross-platform initiatives, and translate business needs into practical technical solutions that enhance service delivery, finance, supply chain, and IT workflows. Success in this role requires strong leadership, systems thinking, and a commitment to delivering high-performing solutions that drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination & Support

  • Assist in planning and coordinating business system initiatives across Truck Service.
  • Support cross-functional teams and resources to help deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Maintain program timelines and performance metrics in alignment with operational goals.

Systems Optimization & Integration

  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to support system enhancements and architecture improvements.
  • Participate in implementation and testing of new features, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Monitor system performance and assist in issue resolution.
  • Support data and process integration across platforms to ensure operational continuity.
  • Assist in configuration and optimization of SAP modules to support service workflows.
  • Support SAP-related projects including upgrades and process improvements.
  • Utilize ServiceNow to support incident management and IT service delivery.
  • Work with IT teams to help automate business processes and improve efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as a liaison between Truck Service teams and technical groups.
  • Translate business requirements into system specifications and project plans.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

Team Development

  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support Business System Analysts.
  • Participate in mentorship and training activities as needed.

Data & Performance Management

  • Use system data to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in developing dashboards and reports to support data-driven decisions.
  • Support data governance and integrity across platforms.

What We'd Like to See

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, business systems, or operations leadership.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing enterprise systems projects.
  • Strong understanding of truck service operations and business process design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project), data visualization (e.g., Power BI), and ERP/CRM platforms.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Travel requirement is approximately 25–50%.
  • Valid driver's license.

Typical Physical Demands

This role requires frequent verbal and written communication, strategic planning, and collaboration with field leaders and cross-functional teams. While the role is largely focused on analysis, leadership, and oversight, travel to locations will be required. During site visits, light physical activity such as walking, standing, or navigating shop environments may occur. Lifting or moving objects up to 50 lbs may be required on rare occasions. Visual acuity is essential for reviewing operational data, facilities, and service documentation. All tasks are performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Environment

The role is based in a professional environment with standard office conditions. Travel to indoor and outdoor locations will occur, exposing the individual to operational settings such as truck service shops. These environments may include mechanical noise, diesel fumes, moving equipment, and contact with substances typical of commercial vehicle maintenance (e.g., grease, oil). All site visits are conducted in accordance with company safety protocols, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and expected to be used.
