Tertiary qualification with 2-3 years of proven sales experience in a target driven environment.

Proven experience managing pipeline and tracking account progress using SalesForce.

Demonstrated aptitude in sales or marketing techniques with ability to cultivate customer relationships.

Provides a prompt, efficient service to both internal and external clients. Goes out of way to ensure that individual internal / external customer needs are met.

Superior oral and written communication skills, with a temperament to aggressively represent, persuade others and negotiate in the best interests of the company.

High standard of telephonic etiquette when calling on clients, effectively utilizing a certain degree of influence and persuasion.

Team player skills.

PC literacy – Microsoft – specifically PowerPoint and Excel.

As the primary client contact, utilise your strong client relationships to identify CBI's and work with your clients to devise strategies to address their CBI's.

You will develop creative solutions that best enhance and match the clients' needs.

You will be responsible for maintaining and generating revenue growth of existing client portfolios, new prospects and inactive accounts by selling appropriate solutions.

Ability to prospect for new business to achieve new business targets.

Compile proposals or tenders by confirming your understanding of the clients business and requirements, pricing and timelines and present these proposals telephonically.

Develop and maintain short and long term account management plans.

Manage the successful execution and implementation of client solutions by coordinating internal and client teams by working collaboratively with product and marketing teams on go-to-market strategy and execution and the development/ implementation of solutions.

Conduct after-sale evaluations to help improve relationships and increase customer retention.

Implement efficient retention strategies to ensure no client attrition.

Manage clients with excellent insight on competitor analysis/ offerings and to benchmark TU's solutions and present findings to relevant stakeholders to in order to develop new innovative solutions ideas.

Forecast sales results monthly and refocus your sales activities based on the analysis.

Utilise Sales Force to record all customer activities i.e. sales pipeline, activity call logs, client contact details, proposals and contracts.

Work with Group Marketing and your telesales manager to develop marketing campaigns and generate revenue leveraging different tele and more electronic sales channels.

Consistently communicates all changes and solutions so that all parties in the sales cycle are adequately informed.

Keep abreast of key client issues and the broader market including legislation.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
