This position has been designated as On-Site Based in Mumbai location.
What will you do:
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve rental sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Utilize technical knowledge of HVAC systems to provide solutions that meet client needs.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine appropriate rental equipment and solutions.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations to clients. Negotiate terms and conditions to secure rental agreements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance sales strategies.
- Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of rental solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and rental agreements. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market conditions.
- Ensure all rental activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
What you will bring:
- Consultative selling approach: Skill in understanding customer needs, challenges, and goals, then recommending solutions that add real business value.
- Technical and product knowledge: Confidence in presenting HVAC systems, energy solutions, and sustainable technologies, while linking features to customer benefits.
- Negotiation and closing skills: Capability to handle objections, create win-win scenarios, and successfully close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Business development mindset: Proactively identifying new opportunities, prospecting clients, and expanding Trane's presence in various industries.
- Presentation and persuasion skills: Delivering impactful presentations, demos, and proposals that influence customer decisions.
- Resilience and goal-oriented: Ability to work in a competitive market, meet sales targets, and adapt quickly to challenges.
- Bachelorās degree in engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in HVAC or sales is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HVAC sales, rental equipment sales, or a related field. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and related equipment. Ability to conduct technical assessments and provide solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and close sales effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic sales plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
