Where is the work:

On-Site (5 days)

Essential Functions:

Drives lean transformation department projects by addressing engineering, quality, technical, product, process, and equipment issues, programing, assist with product changes, transfers, new product development, and integration.

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Certifications:

·Soldering certification, if applicable

·Welding certifications, if applicable

  • Forklift certification, if applicable

Quality Metrics: Quality measurements for assigned areas

Minimum Qualifications

Be able to promote and work safely. Understanding of Lean concepts. Experience with working multiple production machines. Soldering, welding, and/or forklift certifications obtained and maintained, if applicable. Demonstrated effectiveness in communications with others. Developed skills in Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, for example), Auto CAD, WiCAM, or other similar applications. Experience in programming equipment for production purposes.

Introductory Level: Primary focus is learning the process

  • Successful completion of introductory period (6 months)

Essential Functions (Maximum Timeframe 6 months)

Safety: Assist with 5S activities in assigned area. Productivity: Help develop and maintain standard work for areas assigned. Productivity: Understand and properly utilize all material replenishment systems in area assigned. Computer Skills: Learn Oracle and Windchill applications for assigned areas. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate ability to successfully train others, using training techniques appropriate to the situation and the individual.
