Air Side Equipment Sales Support Engineer

Job Summary: Developing long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention by developing HVAC air side system related solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed proposals and estimates for air side equipment, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and project requirements.
• Provide technical support to Sales Managers and their customers regarding air side HVAC systems, product selections, application advice and equipment configuration/sizing.
• Prepare project transition documents, ensuring all necessary information is communicated for seamless hand-off to the operations team.
• Updating and maintaining CRM system.
• Assist sales team during pre-sales activities, including client meetings, site surveys and technical discussions.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and operations team to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide post-sales technical support, troubleshooting and follow up.
• Attend job site visits, which may require working outdoors or in mechanical/equipment rooms and exposure to variable weather conditions, moving parts, heights, and other environmental factors.
• Participate in training sessions, which may include travel to international factories or training centres.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Trilingual proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills as communication with Trane Chinese factory is required.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawing/specification.
