Coordinator Of Service

As a Coordinator of Service, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, dispatching, and controlling the operational activities of Service projects; as well as being the guarantor of communication with the Client, Supervisors, and Service Technicians to coordinate the work, preventive maintenance tasks, repairs, training, startups, warranties, sales concessions, in HVAC Air Conditioning and controls systems.

Where is the job: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 or more days on-site per week) based at the Bogotá office.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate the resources of the Service Department.
  • Execute, implement, and maintain the necessary standards to ensure customer satisfaction. Assign projects to the Work Teams.
  • Receive service transitions from Service Account Managers, verify administrative confirmation to develop the annual, monthly, and weekly schedule of personnel, coordinating technical personnel, materials to be used, subcontractors, equipment, and tools, air tickets, accommodation, transportation, cash advances, immigration requirements or visas, according to the needs of the projects, the skills of the personnel, and the availability of resources.
  • Generate annual work plans and send them to the clients, make client notifications and prepare activity reports and reports.
  • Interact and agree with the Technical Support Leader, and Technical Supervisors, the assignment of activities and dispatch to Service Technicians.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating and addressing any complaints, responding to special requests and requirements, directing them to the appropriate department or personnel for activity assignment.
  • Follow up on service reports, request damage reports when applicable and ensure they are sent promptly to the Service Estimator and Service Account Manager for offer preparation.
  • Support the Service Management and Service Project Administrators in the estimation process of Bookings, preparation of weekly Forecast, support billing process ensuring the timely delivery of documentation, and reporting the status of projects in process before closing.
  • Prepare service budgets for correctives.
  • Flexibility to work overtime / weekends as needed. Requires local and occasional international travel.
  • Provides geographical coverage to the entire Central America and Caribbean region.

What you will bring:

  • 4+ years in coordination tasks of preventive and corrective maintenance services to electromechanical systems, or experience in project management.
  • Studies in Industrial Engineering, Administration, or related fields.
  • Desirable knowledge or studies in air conditioning systems, ventilation, refrigeration, and heating.
  • Domination of Microsoft Office, Word, Power Point, Sales Force.
  • Advanced domination of Excel.
  • A 20% travel requirement.
  • Requires intermediate English proficiency.
