Where is the work:
This position has been designated as On-Site in Charlotte, NC.
What you will do:
- Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
- Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
- Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
- Uphold manufacturing standards, including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling, fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
- Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications, given local needs.
- Serve as a voice of the customer for input on new design development.
- Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
What you will bring:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- PFMEA experience preferred
- Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design
- Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with the ability to build relationships.
- Growth mindset – desire to expand technical skillset.
- Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer focused
- Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $62,000 - $109,950
