About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Marketing Lead to spearhead marketing for an ambitious new title in development at Trailmix. In this 1-year role, you'll lead the full marketing strategy for our upcoming title - covering go-to-market planning, brand positioning, community building, creative direction, and performance-driven growth. You'll shape how our games show up in the world: defining their identity, building excitement pre-launch, and driving sustainable growth through soft launch, global launch, and beyond.
Embedded within the game team and reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that values experimentation and innovation. This role blends creative vision with data-driven strategy and requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to balance high-level planning with hands-on execution. The Day To Day
- Lead end-to-end marketing strategy for the new game, from brand positioning to full-funnel performance campaigns, including GTM plan for Soft Launch/Global Launch.
- Drive all marketability tests to validate the game's potential, including creative and channel testing across platforms such as Meta, Google, and video networks.
- Manage integrated marketing efforts across performance, app store, and social channels, ensuring consistent creative and messaging.
- Partner closely with Product and Creative to align marketing strategies with player insights, game design, and business goals.
- Own and execute marketing operations, including channel mix, budget allocation, and creative strategy to scale efficiently across different stages of play test and launches.
- Lead influencer and partnership initiatives to amplify awareness, community engagement, and cultural relevance for the new game.
- Leverage data and market insights to identify growth opportunities, track KPIs, and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership and the main stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of emerging marketing platforms, tools, and AI-driven solutions, testing and adopting innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
About You
- Proven experience in gaming with a track record of bringing new titles to the global market.
- Expertise in performance marketing (paid UA, influencer campaigns, etc), with hands-on experience across channels such as Meta, Google, Applovin, and more.
- Strong understanding of product marketing and deep experience in new game launches and player insights.
- Excellent collaboration and leadership skills, able to work across cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in analytics, visualisation tools, and emerging AI marketing solutions.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
