Senior Backend QA Engineer

Middle/Senior QA Engineer

We're looking for a Middle/Senior QA Engineer to join and strengthen our UDF team (Universal Data Feed). Our project is developing the core services providing "the backbone" for most data transfers in the company's backend.

Our technology stack: Python, Allure TestOps, PyTest, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker.

How you'll shape success:

• Ensure end-to-end quality control of backend services across development and maintenance stages.
• Design, execute, and maintain stress/load tests to validate system performance and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Reproduce, analyze, and document bugs with actionable steps for developers.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, contribute to release management, and deploy applications to production.

What makes you the perfect fit:

• 5+ years of experience in backend application testing.
• Strong understanding of testing principles and practical application.
• Understanding of inner workings of computer systems.
• Knowledge of client-server architecture, websockets, HTTP-protocol, and RESTful APIs.
• API testing experience (manual and automated).
• Scripting skills for task/test automation.
• Proficiency in Unix-like systems and command-line tools.
• Containerization (Docker) and monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
• English Intermediate (Reading Comprehension — technical documentation)

Nice to have:

• Load testing expertise.
• Tests automation expertise.
• Fintech domain experience (payment systems, trading platforms).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Familiarity with test management systems (e.g., TestRail, Allure TestOps).
• Understanding of distributed systems and their tradeoffs.
• Kubernetes orchestration for deployment and scaling.

It'll also be an advantage if:

• You have experience with finance and trading, or knowledge of the industry.
