Field Service Regional Manager

This position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of field-based services, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance. You will lead a team of Project Managers and Tank Cleaners, managing personnel, equipment, and scheduling for tank cleaning, thermal oxidation (TO), and other industrial services projects. The role includes managing customer relationships, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements, and effectively communicating service capabilities, including potential recycling goals and initiatives, to customers and prospects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the environmental service industry, with a strong background in field services.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures, including conducting facility audits of staging, accumulation, and storage areas.
- Manage Project Managers, Tank Cleaners, and contractors, including daily operations, payroll, PTO, performance reviews, and contractor coordination.
- Oversee the La Porte Shop and equipment readiness, including offloading, preventive maintenance, and preparing trucks and equipment for jobs.
- Utilize staffing agencies to fill project needs as required.
- Scope and quote special projects and business opportunities through job walks.
- Collaborate with the Contracts Group on RFIs/RFQs and determine participation.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships in the Gulf Region (TX, LA, MS, AL), including securing placement on bid lists, growing new accounts, and expanding existing relationships.
- Work with purchasing to secure Master Service Agreements (MSAs) or SPOT contracts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Do you have what it takes?
- 7–10 years of experience in environmental field services.
- 5+ years in industrial cleaning or maintenance.
- 5+ years in Field Services and/or Emergency Response Services.
- 3+ years of experience scoping, quoting, and selling Field Services jobs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Business Administration is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with SAP, FieldFX, or similar systems preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work assigned schedule and on-site as required.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Work Environment
Must be able to pass a physical exam and perform activities such as walking, standing, crawling, kneeling, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, hearing, and seeing.
