Vice President Of Service Release

As the VP of Service Release, you'll be responsible for the timely and accurate setup, transfer, and notices for all loan servicing. This is a crucial role that helps maximize revenue and minimize risk for the company.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage high-volume new loan boarding files for various servicers and sub-servicers, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with all investor and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely transfer of escrow, buydown, principal reductions, and curtailments.
  • Ensure RESPA guidelines are met by overseeing the accurate and timely mailing of Notices of Transfer for every purchased loan.
  • Manage risk for challenged inventory loans to minimize customer confusion and monetary losses, including coordinating the boarding and offboarding of these loans.
  • Oversee pre-purchase data requests from investors, providing accurate, same-day responses to ensure timely purchases.
  • Reconcile the loan servicing system to the general ledger and ensure timely service release of loans from the system after transfer.
  • Monitor loan sale errors and coordinate resolutions with internal and external partners as needed.
  • Lead and manage both onshore and offshore team members.

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in a related role, with a strong background in servicing, interim servicing, and service release functions.
  • Proven experience creating high-volume boarding files for servicers and sub-servicers.
  • Demonstrated experience in loan boarding activities, including auditing data and managing exceptions.
  • Experience with general ledger to servicing system reconciliations.
  • Experience managing onshore and offshore staff.
  • Advanced knowledge of the mortgage industry, with a focus on Servicing, Secondary Marketing, and Accounting.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of the Broad MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform).
  • A strong leader who can develop specific, realistic goals and organize tasks and activities to ensure an efficient workflow.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

This is a hybrid position, two (2) days a week in our Carrollton location.
