Operations Manager

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise drivers, dockworkers, and customer service representatives.
• Communicate effectively with staff and assist in escalated personnel issues.
• Review and verify driver paperwork for accuracy.
• Run daily recaps and generate time-sensitive reports for leadership and customers.
• Monitor hours and overtime for budgetary compliance.
• Provide feedback to senior leadership on strategic initiatives and productivity.
• Ensure outbound process efficiency.
• Attendance tracking, performance management, and corrective actions in partnership with HR.
• Monitor operations and suggest productivity improvements.
• Support headcount accuracy and participate in interviews/hiring as needed.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; TMW software experience preferred.
• Integrity, professionalism, and effective communication.

Education & Experience:

• 3–5 years of proven management experience.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience in warehouse or trucking environment preferred.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
• Must be able to access and navigate all facility areas.
