Maintenance Engineer I
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Engineer I is responsible for bringing plant equipment to the highest level of reliability through committed support for the TOPPAN Performance System (GPS), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and strong ownership of the maintenance excellence process within the plant. The incumbent will be assigned a challenging variety of responsibilities such as participation in the Maintenance Excellence Pillar and support for the 5S Pillar/Daily Team Maintenance (DTM). The Maintenance Excellence Program includes preventive and predictive maintenance of equipment to increase asset reliability.
What you'll be doing:
- Maintain and update weekly and monthly work schedules.
- Coordinate maintenance operations with the production team.
- Assume responsibility for preventive maintenance planning (internal and external).
- Develop and manage a predictive maintenance program.
- Ensure that preventive maintenance work orders are established on time.
- Track and update key performance indicators.
- Develop equipment maintenance procedures.
- Participate in equipment troubleshooting.
- Lead the maintenance project for cost reduction.
- Actively participate in the plant's safety program.
- Communicate with the maintenance team and parts buyer for successful planning
We'd love to hear from you if:
- B.Sc. in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- At least two (2) years of manufacturing experience in or leading a continuous improvement environment.
- Experience with flexible packaging, especially in the field of maintenance.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
