At Too Good To Go, you work on something that matters: together with entrepreneurs and millions of app users, we help prevent food waste. We are looking for new Sales Waste Warriors with a lot of energy and curiosity. People who really want to build something.
As a B Corp, active in 19 countries since our founding in 2015 in Denmark, we have now saved more than 20 million meals, which is equivalent to avoiding 61,430 tons of CO2e. In Belgium, we work with a team of 30+ colleagues and connect more than 3 million users with thousands of partners.
As a Business Developer, you play an important role in our mission. You make sure that local entrepreneurs – from bakeries to neighborhood stores – join Too Good To Go. This way you help them to offer unsold food via our app to consumers.
What does your day look like as a Sales Specialist?
No two days are the same, and that's what makes it so exciting! You start your day with a coffee or tea, in our bustling office in Brussels or comfortably from home. At least twice a week you work in the office, with a team meeting on Monday where we discuss together the planning and successes of the previous week. The other days you go out – by bike, train or Cambio – and go "on the road" in East Flanders. You visit promising leads, warm them up and convince them to join our app and our mission against food waste. Your goal is to speak to 40-60 entrepreneurs daily: from supermarkets to lunchrooms, and make them enthusiastic about Too Good To Go.
Once an entrepreneur is on board, you guide them in their first 28 days. You make sure they are well integrated, their first Surprise Packages are ready, and they get the most out of our platform. You are their first point of contact and make a difference in their first experience with Too Good To Go.
In between, you work on keeping track of your pipeline, analyze your progress and discuss with colleagues what could be better. And of course, you leave room for a lovely lunch and coffee moments in the office. You close your day with a good feeling: impact made again!
