The Head of Marketing plays a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation's (TMHCCI) marketing strategy across the UK and Europe. The position oversees day‑to‑day marketing operations; including brand, digital, communications alignment, CSR, and AI‑enabled marketing delivery, ensuring the function is innovative, efficient, and commercially impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the regional marketing strategy aligned with business priorities and global direction.
- Act as deputy to the Group CMO, supporting strategic initiatives and representing marketing leadership when required.
- Lead and develop the UK and Europe marketing teams.
- Drive the adoption and governance of AI tools to improve efficiency, insights, and performance.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Communications to ensure alignment across brand, messaging, and CSR activities.
- Oversee brand management, digital marketing, campaign delivery, events, and broker engagement.
- Provide strategic oversight of CSR, ensuring alignment with values, brand reputation, and employee engagement.
- Oversee the corporate intranet and website, ensuring effective governance, content quality, UX, and performance.
- Lead the development and evolution of the corporate brand across all channels and markets.
- Support underwriting teams with go‑to‑market planning, product marketing, and competitive positioning.
- Use data, market intelligence, and AI insights to inform decision‑making and optimise channel performance.
- Enhance TMHCC's digital presence across web, paid media, and social channels.
- Manage budgets, reporting, governance, and agency relationships.
- Ensure all marketing activity meets regulatory, compliance, and brand standards.
- Champion best‑practice marketing measurement, AI‑enabled analytics, and ROI reporting.
- Foster a high‑performance and collaborative culture.
Skills and Experience Specification
Essential
- Significant senior marketing leadership experience in B2B financial services; insurance strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies across multiple geographies.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance, underwriting environments, and broker distribution.
- Expertise in brand leadership, digital marketing, and marketing transformation.
- Experience leading multi‑disciplinary and multi‑country teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- High analytical capability, including performance data, martech, and AI‑enhanced analytics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable
- Experience in specialty insurance, Lloyd's, or MGA environments.
- Knowledge of European markets and regulatory considerations.
- Experience modernising marketing technology ecosystems.
