DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer in the DevEx Team, your goal is to make the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) for our developers as intuitive and efficient as possible. You are the enabler who eliminates friction in software delivery. You develop the features of our IDP that enable teams to quickly and independently bring applications to the cloud. You have the freedom to work up to 100 percent remotely or flexibly use our TEAMocom Spaces on-site.

• You design and implement self-service functions within our Internal Developer Platform and high-performance CI/CD-Pipelines in GitLab.
• You also establish modern deployment workflows using ArgoCD.
• You support teams in taking full responsibility for their services – from the initial code commit to stable operation in the cluster.
• As a Mentor, you actively coach development teams and convey best practices in the area of cloud-native development and deployment strategies.
• You also automate application deployment with Helm.
• You act as a service-oriented link between development and operations and continuously improve the tools of the developer journey.

Qualifications:

• You bring long-term professional experience in software development or the DevOps environment with a strong focus on automation.
• You are familiar with GitLab CI, Helm, Kubernetes, ArgoCD and Terraform / OpenTofu.
• A high service orientation and pronounced mentoring ability to effectively transfer knowledge to teams characterize you.
• You have a passion for simplifying processes and creating "self-service" infrastructures.
• Ideally, you have an interest in databases and want to develop in this area.
• To communicate well in your team, you have very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2).
