Front-End Architect

As of 2 September 2025, Tietoevry Tech Services, earlier part of Tietoevry Group, will operate as a standalone company. We'll soon be operating under a new name: Vivicta. You will discover more about our new brand by the end of the year.

We are looking for an experienced Front-End Architect who not only masters modern technologies but also understands the principles behind them and can justify technical choices from a business and architectural perspective.

What We Are Looking For:

We want a person who can build and guide front-end architecture holistically. You have the ability to evaluate the suitability of different technologies and solutions, and you can explain why a particular approach works in a given context. This could involve package management, transitioning to microservice architecture, space management in the user interface, server-side rendering, caching solutions like Redis and Memcached, content delivery networks (CDNs), or cloud-based delivery pipelines in Azure and AWS environments.

Role:

• Define and develop front-end architecture in collaboration with other teams.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and development practices.
• Ensure scalable and maintainable solutions in CI/CD pipelines and delivery chains.
• Act as a mentor and guide for the development team.

What We Expect From You:

• In-depth understanding of modern front-end ecosystems (e.g., React, Webpack, Vite).
• Experience with microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and delivery strategies.
• Knowledge of caching solutions (Redis, Memcached) and CDN technologies.
• Management of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) as part of the front-end delivery pipeline.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and persuasively.
• Passion for clean architecture, performance, and developer experience.

Most of the client work is done in Finnish. We expect you to be ready to work in Finnish and English.
